I was the cinematographer and co-editor for this short film directed by my friend. I helped to shoot this across several days using the Blackmagic Pocket 4K. Additionally, I edited the rough cuts and added visual effects and sound design.

I made this spec ad for Sony as a way to gain experience and practice in the short commercial world. Making a short ad is creatively freeing, as you can do so much in order to promote the brand. I became inspired by many different shots in this project. In fact, I implement shots such as the match cut throughout this short.

ISOLATION.
A Film About Loss. I made this short film as a way to explore themes of grief, loneliness, and isolation. It was a chance to experiment with visual storytelling and create an emotional, surreal atmosphere. Throughout the film, I played with different techniques to reflect the character’s mental state, using symbolism and stylistic choices to enhance the narrative.
